Former secretary of state and chairman of the Joint Chiefs of Staff Colin Powell was in town to speak to the Collin County Business Alliance. About 400 business and civic leaders were on hand to hear Powell discuss his past and present experiences. While much of the talk focused on light-hearted anecdotes about life away from the spotlight, Powell didn’t shy away from commenting on the current state of affairs. CCBA Chairman Sanjiv Yajnik said it’s critical for business leaders and politicians to have dialogue so they can jointly address local, state and national needs. (Click here for the full story)
